Kennan diners request more soup and raise multiple menu preferences; Brantwood attendees praise meals

At the Jan. 29 meeting, Kennan diners reported liking recent additions such as dinner rolls, barbecue ribs and scalloped potatoes with ham, and asked for more soup, leaf lettuce on sandwiches and more rice. They also raised specific complaints: a meal featuring a blackened potato, unpopular tropical fruit, and a bratwurst meal that did not go over well. Diners requested smaller cole slaw pieces to make it easier to chew.

Brantwood attendees gave largely positive feedback, singling out chicken tetrazzini and barbecue ribs and praising the revised meal-site review sheets as a useful improvement. Council members discussed food preferences and minor quality issues that staff may address through menu adjustments and site-level procurement of condiments or supplemental items.
