On Sept. 11, 2024 the board authorized a $1,500 expenditure for the Log Lake Fall Clean‑Up and agreed to allow the Department of Public Works to use space within the Civic Center for winter equipment storage. Commissioner David Comai noted the DPW has hired a third full‑time position intended to eliminate subcontracting and reduce outsourced costs.
DPW Director Parcher presented quotes for repairing the Kaliseum entrance snow‑melt system, removing mold and related contamination in the DPW barn (4‑H / Fair Board storage side), and installing a garage door at a facility; commissioners discussed roofing needs and tabled procurement decisions pending further information and cost details.
