On March 24, 2026, Travis Muscha of Tecta America presented a bid of $66,300 to repair two areas of the Renville County courthouse roof; the board voted to approve the project and the minutes record a 15‑year warranty on the work, with construction expected to begin in July or August. The motion to approve the roof repairs carried unanimously.
The board tabled a separate electrical-upgrade quote from Nett's Electric for the courtroom. Commissioners asked Clerk of Court Danielle Petersen to obtain further estimates and invited an on-site review with county staff before taking action on the electrical work.
