Renville County commissioners on May 5 approved a utility permit application from Otter Tail Power allowing the company to bore under part of the Glenburn Spur this summer to install an underground power line. Commissioner Jamee Hansen moved for approval and Commissioner Rick Haman seconded; the motion carried by unanimous vote.
The minutes record the board’s approval without additional conditions. County records show the approval was routine and the auditor was directed to process the associated claims through the normal warrant-drawing procedure.
