The Price County Local Emergency Planning Committee approved updated bylaws for 2026, changing the chair and vice chair positions to evergreen roles and directing staff to forward the amended by‑laws to state and federal reviewers to remain compliant with applicable regulations. Roger Petrick moved to approve the updated bylaws and Jeff Hallstrand seconded; the motion carried.
Members were reminded to email an alternate to the Emergency Management Director to ensure quorum and representation on future items. The committee noted the by‑law submission to the state for approval and subsequent submission to the federal level as part of routine compliance review.
