"Keep showing up for others, cheering each other on, and always choose kindness," Ayanna said, urging peers to continue civic and school-based conversations about mental health.
Commissioners and the Care Coalition thanked Ayanna and highlighted that the award recognizes sustained volunteer service and youth leadership in the community. The presentation was made as part of the meeting's community-recognition agenda item; no formal vote was required.
