Children’s Justice Center plans 30th-anniversary 'Pancakes for Prevention' event

Shelley Wright, speaking for the Children’s Justice Center and family support center, announced plans to mark the center's 30th anniversary with a community 'Pancakes for Prevention' event on April 30 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will be free and open to the public; Wright asked local agencies and businesses to participate in awareness and decorating efforts.
Wright explained the center’s focus on promoting protective factors and community awareness to help prevent child abuse. She encouraged parents and caregivers to contact the center for support and emphasized community resources available through the family support center.
