Resident urges Glenn Heights to convert vision into measurable planning as growth continues

During public comment, resident Will Busby praised council visibility and urged the city to move from aspirational vision statements to measurable outcomes, especially as more than 1,100 approved homes come online. He said residents are asking whether the city has the water capacity, road infrastructure and fair development fees to prevent taxpayers from shouldering the cost.
"With summer budget season upon us, it's time for Glenn Heights to get serious about long term planning and infrastructure," Busby said. He also urged the council to pursue a grocery store to address routine out‑of‑town shopping by residents. The mayor thanked Busby and other public commenters and noted the council would consider budget priorities in upcoming work sessions.
