Kristy Titus, Renville County DES Coordinator, presented the Flood Plain Management Certification form required annually by the North Dakota Department of Water Resources and the Board voted unanimously on Feb. 3 to approve and sign the form for 2026. Titus also outlined a quarterly training calendar that includes upcoming AED and Stop the Bleed courses intended for county employees.
The certification is required to maintain the county’s flood‑plain program compliance with the state. Titus also reported she has assisted two landowners with a property line dispute and provided research to both parties; that matter was informational in the minutes with no recorded motion or further action requested.
