Renville County affirms 2026 agricultural land values; no increase required

Gabe Titus, Renville County Tax Director, reported to the Board on Feb. 3 that his review of agricultural land valuation data showed the county is in compliance for the 2026 tax year and that no increase in ag land values is necessary. Commissioners Jamee Hansen and Rick Haman moved and seconded approval of the ag values report; the motion carried by unanimous vote.
The minutes record no proposed changes to the agricultural assessment schedule for 2026. The auditor’s office filed the approved report for the coming tax year and no additional action or appeal is noted in the record.
