State's Attorney Wade Enget presented an amended procurement policy to be distributed to all department heads; commissioners asked department heads to review the changes and scheduled further discussion at the next meeting. The minutes record no final policy adoption on Sept. 3, only a staff review and forthcoming discussion.
Enget also discussed the county foster care house and proposed allowing Human Service Zone employees to use it as temporary housing for foster placements. Commissioners agreed to allow the foster house to be used temporarily and deferred more detailed discussion to a future meeting.
