Commissioners approve rezoning of Outlot 51 in Palermo from Commercial to Rural Residential

At 9:10 a.m. Planning & Zoning Administrator Melissa Vachal presented the Planning & Zoning Commission’s Oct. 28 recommendation to approve a zoning amendment filed by Lorena Vergara & Rene Vergara Aguirre (with concurrence from Get It Done Service & Repair LLC) to rezone Outlot 51 in the SESE of Section 10, Township 156 North, Range 90 West (Palermo City) from Commercial to Rural Residential to allow a home. After presentation, Commissioners moved and approved the rezoning contingent on meeting the Mountrail County Land Development Code criteria; roll-call was unanimous.
The motion recorded the board’s approval was conditioned on compliance with all other terms and conditions of the Mountrail County Land Development Code. No public opposition or conditions beyond the Code were recorded in the minutes.
