County staff to propose campground ordinance amendment to address 'glamping' and RV park rules

Tax & Zoning Director Stacey Swanson reviewed current regulations for campgrounds and RV parks and told the Jan. 15 meeting that the department plans to propose an amendment to address newer lodging formats.
"'Glamping' is very trendy right now for unique lodging in remote areas near National Parks," Swanson said. She indicated a draft amendment to campground regulations will be presented at the February meeting for the board's review and possible action.
