Resident tells Claiborne County commission stray dogs are a public-safety problem after livestock attacks

Commissioners and county staff heard the complaint during the public-comment portion added to the agenda. County leaders did not announce a specific new enforcement step at the meeting but the concern was entered into the record for staff follow-up with animal control and 911/EMS dispatch partners.
