The Roscommon County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 14, 2026 adopted Resolution #2026-01-01 authorizing the County Treasurer to invest county funds under Act 20 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1943, as amended. Treasurer Marcie L. Dankert presented the resolution and an Investment Policy that the board approved to take effect immediately.
The resolution states the Treasurer may invest funds in instruments permitted by Act 20 and requires financial intermediaries to be provided a copy of the Investment Policy and to execute an agreement to comply with its terms before executing purchases or trades. The resolution passed on a roll call vote with Ayes: Morley, Wolfsen, Milburn, Sensor; Nays: None.
