Finance staff outline local funding options; district has $7.8M unassigned fund balance

Shauna urged strategic use of fund balance for one-time expenses and described redirects from the previous budget cycle that staff had used to balance priorities. The committee asked staff to refine those numbers and present options for assigning fund balance if needed.
