The Champions of Change ceremony highlighted several youth leaders whose work blends service, research and entrepreneurship. Amari Reed introduced Brianna Sinquefield Tyler, a New Rochelle High School senior who conducted genetic research on blood cancers and founded the student organization Hope Runs Red, which has raised $5,000 for blood-disorder causes. "My community has fed so much into me," Brianna said, accepting the award and expressing gratitude for the support that enabled her research.
Isaac Evans presented Kira Mulrane for environmental outreach and civic research connecting historic redlining to air quality; Kira served as a student researcher for a 2025 exhibit at the NRHS Museum of Arts and Culture and worked with the Energy Justice Law and Policy Center. Eliza Jennings presented Storm Pride, an entrepreneur who developed Sleek Hair Care and urged peers to embrace discomfort as part of growth: "There's nothing you can't change, and you should be comfortable with being uncomfortable."
