Councilmembers asked staff to confirm whether the amendment would contravene the account’s original restriction; staff said they would check the originating trust documents and, if consistent, prepare an amended resolution for the calendar. The council made a motion to amend the legislation as counsel advised and to move the amended item to the consent agenda.
