Residents urge attention to Houghton Lake levels and raise bullying concerns during public comment

During two public-comment periods at the Feb. 11 meeting residents addressed lake-level targets and control-structure operation for Houghton Lake and expressed concern about bullying. Craig Cotterman and Dave Bisbee both spoke about Houghton Lake levels and the lake-level control structure. Later in the meeting Bisbee and Cotterman again referenced bullying and water-level concerns.
Noelle Martin thanked the Board for acting quickly on the MERS motions. John Barta raised a question about a proposed GIS fee for CMDHD for use of county data. Board members took note of the comments; no formal action on the GIS fee or complaints was recorded at the meeting.
