Division staff reported early utilization for a $200 benefit tied to a collective-bargaining agreement. "We had 25,717 individuals who were eligible recipients of these funds," Dave said, and "a little over 1,900 who have used some of it and 600 that have used all of it," which he described as roughly 10% uptake within the initial 4–6 week window.
Dave said the team will perform a data check-in in July and use targeted outreach to members who have not used the debit card, noting some recipients may have discarded the card. The board heard this as part of a brief update on program rollouts; no action was taken at the meeting.
