Henry County adopts interlocal agreement to stay in Northwest Tennessee workforce consortium

Commissioner Dell Carter moved the resolution and Commissioner Kenneth Humphreys seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
The interlocal agreement (included in the record) establishes the Local Elected Officials Consortium among Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion and Weakley counties; it designates Workforce Innovations, Inc. as fiscal agent and grant sub-recipient; identifies a CLEO (Chief Local Elected Official) to serve as grant recipient and signatory authority (Mark Ward from Benton County is named as CLEO in the document); and sets responsibilities for board appointments, fiscal accountability and collaborative planning.
