Commission approves $10,000 corporate surety bond for District 1 constable

Commissioner David Webb moved the resolution and Commissioner Charles Elizondo seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The bond presented lists State Farm Fire and Casualty Company as surety for $10,000 for the term Aug. 13, 2024 through Aug. 13, 2028.
Bond documents included the official State Farm bond form (Bond No. 92-NU-G967-0), a recorded power of attorney authorizing attorney-in-fact signatures and an oath of office. The oath of office for Chad Farthing was also entered into the record. The commission minutes reflect acceptance of the corporate surety bond as required by Tennessee law for elected constables.
