George Mauldin, Safety & Emergency Management Director, commended District #1 maintenance crews for their snow response after arriving at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2025, and said the new equipment brought in by staff was effective for handling snow and ice. Mauldin urged residents and staff to sign up for IRIS emergency alerts and announced a county Blood Drive scheduled for Feb. 4, 2025.
