Council members voted Jan. 14, 2025, to approve payment of bills for October, November and December 2024. The motion, made by Chairman Dave Stockwell and seconded by Jacob McHughes, carried with all members present voting yes.
Deborah Cox told the council that bills were lower than expected for those months and said the program may need to increase spending to better utilize available funds. She complimented Assistant District Attorney Jerrod Cooper for bringing more people into the program, which Cox said would help make fuller use of the budget.
No further budget actions were taken at the meeting; council members recorded the approval of bills and moved on to program reports.
