The Board of County Commissioners opened bids for BID #COM-2128 (Office Space Renovation at 718 N. Porter) on Jan. 6. Purchasing staff member Keri Lyles read the bidders and submitted prices, including an apparent low bid of $122,722 and higher bids of $156,354.80 and $196,591. The bid package includes an add alternate for glass for $9,537.
Commissioner Jacob McHughes moved to accept and postpone action on the bids and directed Purchasing to tabulate and qualify each bidder and return with a report. The motion passed unanimously. The board did not award the contract at the meeting.
