County outlines bridge deck removal, milling and Colwood replacement project

Doug updated the board on current roadwork and near-term projects. "Asphalt resurfacing continues to go on. This week, there are plans for them to mill abutments at bridges, some widening areas, and put on some patching and some widening," he said, and noted a contractor is removing the bridge deck at Michelson Marsh.
He also said Peterson Contracting indicated it plans to move to the Colwood replacement project north of Lone Rock and that a pre-construction conference is scheduled for the end of the week or beginning of next week to prepare the project.
