USU Extension Agent Mike Pace explained Cooperative Agreement #26‑02, a renewal that continues Extension programming in Box Elder County, including 4‑H (about 1,000 youth in the program). Appendix A to the agreement lists a "TOTAL operating budget of $247,385" for 2026 to cover travel, supplies, contract labor and other items that support Extension services in the county.
Commissioner Vincent moved to approve the Cooperative Agreement; Commissioner Perry seconded and the motion passed on a unanimous roll‑call vote. The agreement includes provisions for county‑provided facilities and for USU‑managed staff and programming as described in the agreement language.
