The Dinwiddie County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved FY2026 budget amendments following a public hearing at the Jan. 20 meeting that drew no public comment.
Deputy County Administrator Anne Howerton presented the proposed amendments and opened the hearing at 7:11 p.m.; the record shows there were no comments heard or submitted. Upon closing the hearing the Board voted to adopt the amendments "as presented," with Dr. Mark E. Moore and William D. Chavis recorded among the motions and seconding that carried the measure.
The board’s action completes the local step of the FY2026 amendment process ahead of continued work on the county’s regular budget cycle and the ongoing General Assembly session, both of which County Administrator W. Kevin Massengill noted earlier in the meeting.
