The Health Committee approved an amendment to a Minnesota Department of Health agreement that increases the FQHC subsidy receivable for Northpointe Health and Wellness by $526,240 for the 2026 calendar year, bringing the receivable to a total just above $1.8 million.
Kimberly Spaetz (who introduced herself during the item) said the additional funds will support access to care regardless of ability to pay, expand some school‑based clinic services and address infrastructure needs. The committee approved the technical receivable increase by voice vote.
