Commission announces training opportunity, reschedules meeting and previews assisted-living pre-application

Rob told commissioners the city will cover registration for the Utah Land Use Institute sessions on Oct. 22–23 and encouraged attendance, noting the sessions count toward commissioner training hours. "It's in Sandy, my hometown... the city will cover registration costs," he said.
Because staff or a presenter would be unavailable for the scheduled meeting, the commission agreed to reschedule the next Planning Commission meeting to Thursday the 27th at 7 p.m. Rob also previewed an upcoming development agreement pre-application for an assisted-living facility on the Sky Estates commercial lot; the applicant is the original Sky Estates developer, and staff will shepherd the application forward for commission and council review.
