The Carlton County Board of Commissioners approved an amended consent agenda at its Jan. 26, 2026 adjourned meeting, voting unanimously to adopt multiple administrative items and contracts for 2026. The board approved the minutes of the Jan. 6, 2026 annual meeting and authorized purchase-of-service contracts for Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) and Northeast Minnesota Office of Job Training (JET) for MFIP Employment and Training and Diversionary Work Program services, each capped at $159,261.50 for Jan. 1'Dec. 31, 2026.
The board also approved a Brightwater Health contract addendum for Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), increasing the amount to not to exceed $386,656 for the 2026 contract year. The consent items were adopted by a motion from Commissioner Reed, seconded by Commissioner Plante Buhs, and carried by all yea votes. The contracts are on file with the relevant county departments.
