Commission continues two matters to Sept. 17, issues enforcement order and approves routine bills

The Westport Conservation Commission continued two agenda items to the Sept. 17 meeting: an application for invasive-plant removal and lawn restoration at Parcel 1, 429 Oak County Road (continued on a motion by Jay) and a separate application for a single-family dwelling, garage and associated work on Parcel 2, Old Towne Road. Both continuances were moved and seconded and the commission voted to continue the matters.
In other business staff reported that a certified letter regarding clearing at 17 San Clemente Drive was returned; staff said an enforcement order had been issued and that staff member Chris would follow up. The commission also approved payment to East Bay Media for $430.50 for hearing advertisements and approved the minutes from Aug. 20 without changes before adjourning.
