Residents ask Carver County for more accessible elections information and evening engagement

Monique LaCroix said transparency must be accessible, not just available: "Transparency is only effective if it is accessible ... you could consider holding an evening town hall or a second presentation at 6 or 7PM so that the broader public can engage," she said.
Patricia Williamson and Jennifer Ray also recommended earlier posting of slide decks and clearer instructions for members of the public on how to access ballot‑board observations. County staff noted the slide deck is posted on the agenda page (typically added Monday) and that recordings will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
