Board approves recruitment contract and new administrative assistant position for Community Services

The Nobles County Board approved engaging David Drown Associates for recruitment services up to $12,000 to help fill the vacant CHS Administrator/Public Health Supervisor role, which has been unfilled since January 2024 after multiple interview rounds and two declined offers. Commissioners cited strain on the Public Health unit and Community Services Director due to the vacancy.
The board also approved a new job description for an Administrative Assistant to the Community Services Director to help address multiple unfilled positions and unmet operational needs in the Community Services Department. Approval was recorded with a motion by Commissioner Justin Ahlers and second by Commissioner Chris Dybevick.
