Auditor/Treasurer Kelly Pauling presented an amendment to the lease for the Department of Corrections building located at 710 2nd Avenue South, St. James, proposing a 3% increase to the rental rate. The Department of Corrections responded with an addendum and Pauling asked the Board to approve the 3% increase contingent on County Attorney review.
Commissioner Bill Miller moved and Commissioner Jim Pettersen seconded approval of the 3% rental increase and authorization for County Attorney Julie Kelley to finalize the lease amendment if no discrepancies were found; the Board approved the motion unanimously. The meeting record states that not all addenda had been fully reviewed at the time of the vote.
