Milaca Township board approves routine business, moves April meeting to April 20

The Milaca Township Board unanimously approved routine consent items at its March 9, 2026 meeting, including the agenda, the February regular meeting minutes, the treasurer’s report and cash control statement for February, claims for February and gross payroll for February. Chairman Shane Marudas made the motions; several were seconded by Supervisor Jayson Karas and Supervisor Jeff Paul as recorded in the minutes. The board approved each motion unanimously.
Shane Marudas also moved to “move the April regular meeting to April 20th, 2026 at 7pm,” a motion seconded by Supervisor Jayson Karas that passed without opposition. The board noted that township elections are scheduled for March 10, 2026 from 5–8 p.m. with the annual meeting to follow, and that the Board of Organization meeting is set for March 18, 2026 at 7 p.m. Checks and other documents were signed by the treasurer, chairman and clerk before adjournment.
