County renews health contracts; EMS quarterly payment to Mercy totals $109,087.50

The Pontotoc County Board approved a sequence of health-related contracts and EMS funding arrangements in June 2026.
On June 15 the board renewed a contract with Turn Key Medical, the county’s correctional healthcare partner for the Justice Center, at $21,181.14 per month. On June 22 the BOCC approved the EMS Sales Tax Purchase Request for Mercy Hospital at $109,087.50 per quarter (recorded as a FY 2026–2027 blanket to be issued July 1). The Health Department also approved several vendor contracts for services including generator inspections, copier leases and X-ray services for TB screening.
These approvals were recorded as motions passed by roll call and were placed on the consent agenda for the relevant meetings. County staff noted budgetary implications for recurring payments in the upcoming fiscal year.
