Facilities staff (S6) described recent walkthrough findings at school sites, highlighting open ceilings in the library and finished ceiling work returning to the media center. "Still have a lot of ceilings left open, but there's a lot of overhead work happening," S6 said while showing photos and noting areas where soffits and an exposed beam required additional work.
S6 told the board the team had discovered some consultant omissions that will require change orders and shared that exhaust and heating systems will be replaced in restroom areas and elsewhere as the project progresses. The presenter said the district will share costs where items were consultant responsibilities and that further details will appear in next month’s update.
