The Leonard Airy Heritage Historic District Commission opened its July 23, 2026 meeting and approved the May 28 minutes by voice vote, 7–0–0. Chair (speaker 1) appointed David Ellis to vote for the absent Jim Butler and said, “That's a full house and a quorum, and, we can proceed.”
The chair read two advisory review submittals from Londonderry LLC. One application seeks design review for a lot consolidation and subdivision; the other is a site-plan application for four residential buildings (three- and four-unit types) plus two mixed-use buildings and a conditional-use permit that lists 5,800 square feet of wetland impact and 46,305 square feet of wetland buffer impacts at 77–83 Nashua Road (Tax Map 7, Lots 129-1 and 130). Staff noted both applicants informed the office they would not attend tonight's meeting and the planning board had not yet reviewed the files. The commission requested staff and the applicants arrange for attendance at a future meeting when possible.
Next procedural steps include tracking the applications through the planning-board review and scheduling the applicants to appear for advisory input when their materials are ready. No formal action was taken on the two applications at this meeting.
