Planning Commission elects officers: Depre chair, Belden vice-chair, Abrahamson secretary

At its Feb. 4 meeting the Carlton County Planning Commission elected Keith Depre as chairperson, Dan Belden as vice-chair, and Mike Abrahamson as secretary. All elections were uncontested and approved by unanimous vote.
The Carlton County Planning Commission conducted officer elections at the start of its Feb. 4 meeting. Commissioner Clayton Kauppila nominated Keith Depre for chair; no other nominations were made and the commission recorded unanimous support for Depre to serve as chair. Mike Abrahamson nominated Dan Belden for vice-chair and Keith Depre nominated Mike Abrahamson for secretary; both were elected without opposition and with unanimous votes.
Zoning and Environmental Services Administrator Chris Berg turned the chair over to Depre after the election. The minutes record no contested nominations or dissenting votes.
