The public hearing for proposed edits to Section 18.100.210 D(1) of Huachuca City’s zoning code opened Feb. 19 in Council Chambers and drew no public input. The hearing officer invited anyone wishing to speak to state their name and address, but noted "at present, we do not have any public in the Chamber."
The officer also read that no written comments or phone-in comments had been submitted in advance. After allowing time for public input, he closed the hearing and formally recommended the amendment "as written," to be sent to the Town Council for a final reading. The minutes do not record any public testimony, written submissions, or a council vote on the measure.
