On Feb. 12 the Huachuca City Town Council adopted Ordinance 2026-02 to amend Town Code Title 9, Chapter 9.20 (Minors Prohibited from Carrying or Possessing Firearms) by adjusting the listed exceptions under Section 9.20.020. The amendment was presented as necessary to align local code with state law (A.R.S. 13-3108(G)(2)(d)).
Town Attorney Thomas Benavidez presented the second reading and Mayor Johann R. Wallace moved for adoption. The minutes record the motion and that the ordinance was adopted; vote recorded as passed during the meeting.
