Page County Board fills several board and commission seats, recommends candidate for Board of Equalization

On Jan. 20, 2026, the Page County Board of Supervisors handled a slate of board and commission appointments. Supervisor Allen Louderback moved to appoint John Renwick to the Social Services Board (District 2) to serve the unexpired term through June 30, 2028; the motion carried 6‑0. The Board reappointed Chris Adams to the Planning Commission for a four‑year term through Jan. 10, 2030, and reappointed Roger Houser as an alternate to the Building Code Appeals Board through Dec. 31, 2029. Supervisor Susan Kile moved to reappoint Elisabeth Alger to the Northwestern Community Services Board for a three‑year term through Dec. 31, 2028; the motion carried 6‑0.
The Board also voted to recommend Nina Wolf to the Circuit Court for appointment to the Board of Equalization; at least two more members will be recommended to fulfill the minimum composition requirements under Section 58.1‑3374 of the Code of Virginia.
