Board members said the airport's taxiway work has been completed and the FAA GIS survey needed to close out federal project files was finished last week. "The taxiway is, fully completed," a board member stated, and the GIS survey is expected to allow final federal close-out for that project.
The new fuel farm was reported online on June 24 and is in service for fuel sales; staff said they are finalizing reimbursements from state and federal grant sources and finishing required environmental paperwork. The board expects to send closure documents to relevant state and federal agencies within weeks.
