Residents raise DSS access, school entrance safety and tax-help concerns during public comment

Two members of the public spoke during the public comment period April 14. Andrea Rahn and Adrienne Blume addressed council with a range of concerns they asked the county to consider.
Rahn and Blume invited council to visit Department of Social Services (DSS) offices to review client-facing space and accessibility. They also raised questions about which county projects are over budget and expressed concern about distribution of cars and gas. One commenter specifically urged the council to "take a look at the entrance and exit at Richard Carroll Elementary" describing it as dangerous. The minutes record that the council took the information under advisement and thanked the public for attending.
