Council approves interlocal agreement with Library for continued Museum use at Nappanee Center
Summary

Deputy Mayor Amy Rosa introduced an interlocal agreement updating terms between the City and the Library for the Library’s continued use of the Museum space at the Nappanee Center. Staff member Mr. Slaven presented the agreement and the minutes record that the Library Board had already approved the document and City Attorney Brian Hoffer had reviewed it.
Because Council Member Ben Leavitt serves on the Library Board, he recused himself from the vote. Council Member Dustin Geyer moved to approve the interlocal agreement, Council Member Kelbi Veenstra seconded, and the council approved the agreement by a 4-0 voice vote with one abstention (Leavitt).
