Dan Rhoman, project manager with Alliance Consulting Engineers, told Bamberg County Council that staff visited county roadways to update a prior 2014 inventory and provided aerial imagery to clarify construction needs.
Rhoman named specific projects — Salty Road, Lazy Lane, Riley Drive and Church Street — and described right‑of‑way concerns and drainage, stabilization, erosion and culvert issues. He said the C‑Fund committee has provided funds toward construction and that Apache Road improvements are moving forward pending Army Corps permitting for wetlands. Council thanked Rhoman for the update and said they anticipate more detailed engineering reports going forward.
