Peter Stevenson, speaking for the town's construction team, summarized progress with the contractor Naylor and said the project is moving toward on-site work. "They're expecting to start October 13," he said, and noted that shop drawings remain in progress but most items are done and approved.
Stevenson described septic work: Doren Brothers will visit to locate the septic tank (initial visit $175), with follow-up services priced by task and an anticipated modified mound system permitable for about 50 seats with provisions for approximately 25 ancillary occupants. He said the septic buildout could be in the range of "anywhere from 30 to $60,000" but that a formal design and bids will be necessary to determine final cost.
