Clermont County approves Legendary Trails sewer project, schedules pre-bid meeting

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 12 adopted Resolution Number 013-25 to make improvements for Project Number 6402-60228, the Legendary Trails sanitary sewer collection system in Pierce Township, and authorized the county to advertise for bids.
The resolution approves the project plans, specifications, and estimate of cost and sets a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for March 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with bids to be received until 2:00 p.m. on March 27, 2025 in the Board Office at 101 East Main Street, Batavia. Commissioner David L. Painter said "this has been a long time coming." A staff member identified only by surname, Mr. Bloom, explained that the project replaces 35-year-old drip-feed septic systems maintained by Water Resources with a sewer system.
