Commissioner Ron Robertson announced he would remove himself from the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) to reduce overlapping representation and allow Commissioner Saunders to fill the slot. "I've done served 4 years and get her opportunity to serve," Robertson said, and the board accepted his resignation.
Chair Corey Ballance thanked Robertson "for your service," and the board discussed whether any additional formal action was required to finalize the change. County Manager Juan Vaughn said the existing JCPC chair and members are aware and would make necessary updates; the board indicated no further vote was needed at the meeting unless administrative follow-up proved necessary.
